INTRODUCTION

Ohaneze Ndi-Igbo Salzburg is a cultural, self-governing, non-governmental, non political, non-religious and non-profit- making organisation duly registered according to the laws and regulations governing unions in Austria.

Aims and objectives.

• a. To uphold and promote the Igbo cultural heritage.
• b. to harness the combined resources of members, enabling us to project and foster the noble image of the Igbos.
• c. To assist in preserving the identity and the unity of the Igbos.
• d. To to encourage unity and closer ties among Ndiigbo resident in Austria.
• e. To provide a forum for general discussions by members of the union in Austria on matters affecting their general welfare.
• f. To promote better understanding of Ohaneze Ndi-Igbo internationally, and its appreciation in Austria.
• g. To facilitate friendship and co-operation among all ethnic groups most especially Ndiigbo in Austria and with host country.
